With the tragic incidents that have been happening recently, the government has decided to take a look at its current education system and identify its flaws. The state is looking at developing a curriculum that is not stressful for kids.

According to Times of India, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is planning to make some major changes in the current system.

State education minister Balasaheb Thorat revealed in a panel interview that the state is looking at developing a curriculum that is not stressful for kids. Also, they want to put more emphasis on extra-curricular activities. The state is now asking for suggestions from the public as to what specific changes they would want the government to make on the current system.

A school principal said that more emphasis should be made on activities that develop a child’s emotional quotient. What about you? What kind of changes would you want to see in the current curriculum that’s being used in schools?
